New Cranberry Nutritional Supplement Supports Urniary Tract Health

Pensacola, FL – January 3, 2011 – CranMate™ Nutritional Supplement has been added to PRN Pharmacal’s product line. CranMate will be launched at the NAVC show in Orlando in January and will be available nationwide through veterinary distributors.

Urinary tract infections are a common problem in dogs and cats, especially those with diabetes mellitus, hyperadrenocorticism, or those with kidney disease. CranMate is formulated for the maintenance of healthy urinary systems, systems with disturbances and those that are prone to UTIs. CranMate is rich in proanthocyanidins (PACs) from cranberry extract (Vaccinium macrocarpon). The patented extraction process also eliminates unwanted sugar and oxalic acid, resulting in a product that meets the needs of animals with diabetes mellitus. CranMate also supports urinary systems that are on long-term medications for urinary incontinence and will not interfere with antibiotics.
